My name is Shirley Fisher. I have a wonderful supportive husband, Donald. I am the Mother of three beautiful daughters and the grandmother of one grandson and three granddaughters. I have served the residents of our great city, Niagara Falls for most of my life, as a businesswoman, life-long community volunteer, and current city councillor.
I have been a Red Cross/Royal life swimming instructor and examiner for the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara and Cyanamid Summer Swim Program and Fallsview School. In my years as a volunteer I was also an honorary auxilliary member of the Willoughby Volunteer Fire Department. I am a Chippawa Lioness with over 19 years and continue to volunteer with many local charities and community events.
